What is an IFA?

An Independent Financial Adviser who acts on behalf of the client to ensure when making a mortgage, life, pension or investment recommendation that the most appropriate product provider is chosen.

Is qualified to a minimum level of FPC Level 3 or equivalent.



An IFA will: -

Have a thorough understanding of your present financial circumstances and future needs before making any recommendation.

Recommend the most suitable product to meet your needs.

Justify every recommendation to ensure that you understand how it will satisfy your requirements.

Ensure that you are fully aware of any fees that are to be paid or commissions that we may receive.

Have access to various recognised research programs and sourcing systems to ensure the most up to date and best product information is provided according to your requirements and circumstances.

Offer unbiased impartial advice that you understand.

Important Information

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

For mortgages we can be paid by commission, or a fee of usually £295 or a combination of both.

The FSA does not regulate some forms of mortgages.
